NHS Training Video

A scripted role play for an NHS training video was produced to help healthcare professionals diagnose and evaluate the symptoms of depression.

The script and video lasted more than 20 minutes!

Here is a much shorter edited version.

“Thank you for your excellent work. Yours was a particularly authentic portrayal of a clinically ill psychiatric patient retaining all the nuance of the patient undergoing consultation in the clinical setting.

The quality of your work is reflected in the limited number of edits I have had to make to produce the final programme and I am extremely pleased with the finished product.”
— Prof. Chris Hawley, NHS (HAMD Depression Rating Scales)

The Bottom Line
Bowel Cancer Screening Campaign

Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK, with nearly 17,000 deaths every year.

However, it is treatable and often curable if caught early. This video was part of a successful campaign for Beat Bowel Cancer.

It helped change policy to lower the screening age to 50 in England and Wales, bringing screening timings in line with Scotland and the rest of the world.

Get Closer to
Andy Murray

HEAD tennis produced a ‘Get closer’ promotional campaign, to encourage everyone to unite behind Andy Murray in his quest to win Wimbledon.

It involved some very ‘out of the box’ thinking and it worked, as Andy went on to become the champion and a tennis legend!

Wood Green
The Animals Charity

The very imaginative guys at Spot Reels, came up with a very clever campaign to make us think how animals may feel when autumn comes around.

Jamaican Tourist Board

There’s plenty to write home about when holidaying in Jamaica - that was the theme of this highly inventive commercial.

Due to a very tight budget, it wasn’t filmed on location, but on the damp streets of Plumstead in south London!

“Perfect. You were the best. It was always a pleasure working with you and I always felt you stood out.”
— Alex Brown, Director Jamaican Tourist Board Commercial, 'Hey Gilly' Music Video and short film, 'Falter'

‘Hey Gilly’ by
Matthew P

A group of guys are all waiting for the same woman, Gilly!

While Matthew P sang his song, some of the cast lip-synced along.

This video was conceived and directed by the creative Alex Brown and was filmed at the famous ACE café on the North Circular Road, London.

‘Tennis Season’
by Papa Chemo

Ian played the role of a very menacing table tennis coach in this music video.

Two players took part in a hard fought ‘East’ vs. ‘West’ clash.

Look out for a very surprising ending!
